POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • The Poster should be a clear visual presentation of your submitted abstract and must meet the following criteria as specified in the Technical Instructions.
  • Kindly be advised that it is your responsibility to arrange for the printing of the poster independently.
  • Please ensure that all posters are mounted at least one hour prior to your session.
  • Be aware that all posters will be removed and discarded if not retrieved by the conclusion of the respective poster session.
TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS

Title of the Poster

  • The title of the Poster should be the same as the submitted abstract. Any slight modification which does not change the idea of the abstract is allowed.

Poster size and format

  • To get the poster template, please click HERE.
  • The poster boards will accommodate A1 size poster: height 84.1 cm (33.1 inches), width 59.4 cm (23.4 inches).
  • The Poster should be on a single page, A1 size, in portrait orientation.
  • To ensure good legibility we recommend that you use at least 24 pt as the font size for the body of text.

Content of the Poster

  • The Poster should contain:
    • Title
    • Authors and affiliation(s)
    • Background (introduction, problem statement, aim of study)
    • Methodology
    • Results
    • Conclusion
    • Acknowledgment, if any
  • The Poster should be written in English. Try to keep the text clear and concise. It is recommended to use explanatory illustrations instead of text whenever possible.

Table(s) and Illustration(s)

  • Participants are encouraged to use tables and illustrations such as charts, graphs, figures, and images, to attract more attention and make it easy to follow.

Submission of e-Poster

  • Poster presenters are also required to submit an e-Poster.
  • The e-Poster must be submitted in .pdf format.
  • Maximum file size is 5 MB.
  • Submit the e-Poster to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and indicate the file as abstractcode_IC3D2024.pdf (upon abstract acceptance, the participants will be given an abstract code).
  • e-Poster submission deadline is 30th April 2024.

Mounting

  • Mounting material will be available from the Registration Desk (in front of the Main Hall on Level 3).
  • Conference staff will be available to assist you during the time of poster mounting.
  • The poster boards will be numbered according to the Abstract Codes given by the organizers and will be grouped by Scientific categories.
  • The poster boards will be located in the Main Hall on Level 3.

Poster Sessions

  • Poster presenters are expected to be in front of their posters during the poster session to explain their work to interested attendees.
  • All the poster sessions will be held during specified times found in the programme.
